Located in the quaint area of Llandaff, Llandaff Cathedral is one of only 2 cathedrals in Cardiff.
Dating back to 1107 when the original cathedral was built, the Anglican cathedral had seen much hardship, having been through 2 restorations and then damaged during the Cardiff Blitz of 1941. A third restoration followed and is the grand cathedral you see today. The cathedral is seat to the Bishop of Llandaff, head of the Church in Wales Diocese of Llandaff.
