The spacious Assembly Room is the largest room in City Hall where a stage is provided and additional staging, lighting, sets and exhibition systems can easily be accommodated. The Lower Hall located on the ground floor enjoys excellent access from the Main Entrance Hall and can accommodate shell schemes, exhibition equipment, translation booths and a dance floor. The elegant Marble Hall is perfect for drinks receptions or exhibition presentations. You can choose from a range of Syndicate Rooms for your breakout sessions.

Assembly Hall
The magnificent Assembly Room is the largest room in City Hall, accommodating up to 500 guests for a wedding / dinner or 600 delegates for a conference.
The richly-decorated ceiling provides a delightful canopy for all types of events, but belies the fact that the Assembly Room can also host the most hi-tech presentations. A stage is provided and additional staging, lighting, sets and exhibition systems can be easily accommodated in this spacious room. Thus the Assembly Room is a very flexible and adaptable venue, whether for a gala dinner, prestigious award ceremony or state-of-the-art conference. Access to the Assembly Room is through the elegant Marble Hall, so this room is often used in a supporting role for refreshments, pre-dinner drinks or exhibitions.
The venue had welcomed a variety of international conferences and high-profile events over recent years, including international software workshops and European Council Meetings.

Lower Hall & Entrance
Located on the ground floor, the Lower Hall enjoys excellent access from the main Entrance Hall.
The room is given structure by a series of elegant pillars, yet offers a flexible space for a variety of occasions. Over recent years, the Lower Hall has been used as a conference room, a dining room a spacious exhibition area and a media centre for the European Summit and Rally of Great Britain.

Marble Hall
The Marble Hall is an impressive and adaptable area on the first floor of City Hall.
Lined by columns of Sienna marble and decorated with ornate stained glass windows, the room displays many items from City Hall’s extensive art collection.
The Marble Hall provides a superb setting for wedding ceremonies, receptions, presentations, dinners, buffets, exhibitions or many other events. It can be used alone or in conjunction with the adjacent Assembly Room.
